I was brought up Catholic - I always feel guilty - just never sure what for

Personally, I have tried to escape from my problems when feeling guilty with something.

Whether it be food binging, excessive exercise, or sleeping for long periods of time. It's just what we do to keep sane and to be able to cope with life.

Once I've had enough, I would try to fix the problem (whatever is making me feel guilty) or just deal with it.

Consider what is making you feel guilty and then address that. This question is too vague.

i usually eat a lot of chocolate lol

if i feel guilty i tell my best friend who i trust with everything. she doesnt judge me but does tell me what she thinks of the situation and then helps come up with soloutions to help me. if you have a friend like that than its worth doing. :)

I listen to music. It's the safest release; better than eating your health away or crying for long periods of time.

Think about something else, and when I can't get it out of my mind I do something else, preferably something that involves thinking to clear my mind.
