Indeed Jews were chosen once. But they fell from Grace because of their disobedience. In 587 BCE, they were punished through Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar.
Then they were punished in 70 AD for rejecting Christ knowingly and as predicted by him, not a stone of Solomon's temple remained on another. Do they believe that their choice is unconditional? But Deteronomy 11:18~25 says :
"If you faithfully keep all the instructions that I command you,
loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways and holding fast
to Him...........as He promised you"
Holy Quran also says in Chapter ' Bani Israel ' that::
" If you repeat your sins, we Shall repeat the punishment".
Further in ch 3, verse 112 :
" Shame is pitched over them wherever they are found except under a covenent from Allah and from people (Like
American people), they draw on themselves wrath from Allah.
And tht who reject Jesus will always be outnumbered by his believers. Then why this misunderding?

Chosen people are not punished and are rewarded. But Jews did not undergo
punishment 2000 years ago, but also 60-70 years ago also. Holy Quran prophesied that shame will cover them like a tent wherever they go. Jews could only survive with the grace of God or
begging people to save them (Like Americans).
Holy Quran also predicted that rejecters of Jesus will always be dominated by his believers (Christians and Muslims).
In Chapter Bani Israel the warning
"if they persist in their crimes,(such as
charging interest, arrogance and corruption), their punishment shall be
repeated," upset Israeli Authority so much that it banned recitation of that
Chapter on Palestine Radio & TV.
In fact God Almighty told Prophet Abraham that his promise did not reach the arrogant .Yet Jews claim to be chosen people and that too without a condition!
Lord God had already told Abraham : "My promise does not reach the disobedients!"
Repentence is the only hope to delay
Armaggadon !
