When I was in the 5th grade, there was a girl who had a boog hanging from her nostril; so I told her she had a booger and she got embarrassed because it was a mole on her face which made me embarrassed.
The moral: If you do confront someone, make sure it's a real booger.

Well ud tell them if it was reali notciable and embarrssing for them. but u dont just have to go 'oi, u got a booger' so that everyone can hear u, try to do it so that only the person with the booger can hear you and to minimise the amount of embarrassment for the person.
Just think if you had a booger hanging would you want someone to tell you so you dont look like an idiot infront of the rest of the world? i no i would want someone to tell me....

Depends on whether I like them or not. A better question is, why is it only that guys get boogers? Is it the nose hair?

Yes, but quietly. It may be embarrassing to tell them, but if you are their friend, you wouldn't let them embarrass themselves without knowing. It doesn't matter what the booger looks like. Just that it is there.

..the best way is to get your mobile that have camera with it..snap a picture of your friend with the booger and show it to them..get a close up picture of the actual location of the booger..hehehee

It's really hard, cuase I know that they will feel embarrased. But they may feel more embarrased if they know that they had one and you didn't say anything. Or they may get mad. They looks of the booger matter not.

well I do not come out and say you got a big booger hangin... but I do let them know they have something they should wipe off....I do it because I would hope someone would tell me!! if the situation was reversed!

it's ok to tell someone when they're a close friend, or someone who is about to embarass themselves infront of a bunch of people (going to go to talk to their crush, give a speech infront of a bunch of people, do a business presentation, etc.)
would you want someone to tell you?
don't yell "you've got a bat in the cave"
just hand them a tissue & maybe a mirror.

Politely gesture wiping your nose and they will quickly get the hint...That is about the only way to do it with some tact.

Unless you're close enough to the person that they can trust thaat you're not doing so just to be rude, you probably shouldn't bother to bring it up.
