evolution: man's word
creationism: God's word
Therefore, live by faith, not by sight. As Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Not only is there no evidence for creation, but there can never be because creation makes no testable predictions that could be verified and used to rule out other possibilities.
Evidence for evolution includes:
1. Observation of increasingly complex life forms in younger and younger rocks through the geologic column.
2. Observation of the predicted transitional forms between organisms in the fossil record.
3. Direct observation of evolution occuring in the present day in organisms such as moths, dogs, cats, bacteria, and others.
4. All of genetics.
5. Correlation between genetic similarity and and morphological similarity in present day organisms.
6. Correlation between form, function, and environment for a large number of observed adaptations.
7. Observation of specific evolutionary trends in the fossil record for many sequences of related organisms.
8. Observation of evolution in a laboratory setting for organisms with short life spans.
9. An observed genetic mechanism for the evolution of apes into man involving the fusing of two chromosomes.
10. Much, much more that I'm not even aware of because I'm not a biologist!
I'm afraid realchurchhistorian is mistaken, as Emporer Palpatine would say, about "a great many things". Intelligent design accomodates all possibilities because an intelligent creator can design life in any way it sees fit. Since any and all real or hypothetical obserations about life are consistent with intelligent design, intelligent design explains NOTHING and therefore NO observation about life is evidence for it. Saying that it "explains" the fact that monkeys are born from monkeys and men are born from men is meaningless because 1) an intelligent designer could have also designed life differently, and 2) evolution PREDICTS that monkeys should be born from monkeys and men should be born from men, making the assertion that intelligent design does a BETTER job explaining this observation particularly ridiculous. Evolution also does NOT violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics, which is an old and tired assertion that was layed to rest decades ago. realchurchhistorian needs to do some basic fact checking before posting this outdated rhetoric.

There is no evidence of creation. It's not a proper theory, so proper scientific evidence does not exist for it. If it was a proper theory, it would be written based on the observation of real events and it would be possible to conduct experiments that could potentially yield evidence against it.
Evolution has a lot of speculation and a lot of logical argument, and a whole bunch of experiments that show how something might possibly have happened. No experiment has been performed that has had a result directly contradicting evolution to the point where it needs to be rewritten. Not recently, anyway.

Creation: big bang theory (probably not what you are looking for, but the best I can do)
Evolution: Start with the evolution evidence page, below.

For evolution, you have, for starters:
1. Genetics: we share 98% of our DNA with chimpanzees. Crocodiles are more genetically related to birds than to lizards and snakes (evolution says birds evolved from therapod dinosaurs, and both dinosaurs and crocodiles belong to a reptile group called the archosaurs, while lizards and snakes are classified among the more distinct lepidosaur group).
2. Biogeography (the geographical distribution of life): creationism, especially belief in Noah's Flood, cannot account for the distribution of life like evolution can without serious and pretzel-like contortion of logic. Flightless birds on Australia and New Zealand, for instance, would have a hell of a time traveling to the Middle East to get to Noah's Arc in time.
3. Paleontology: transitional fossils like Archaeopteryx, Ambulocetus, Tiktaalik, and Australopithecus afarensis provide ample evidence for evolution. That some creationists call them hoaxes is no better than conspiracy theorists calling the Moon landing a hoax. In fact, the creationist theory of a massive conspiracy of Darwinians is probably the most ludicrous conspiracy theory ever.

There isn't any evidence of divine creation.

The four strongest things evolution has going for it are:
1. Light-years - based upon the idea of light-years Evolutionists try to date the earth.
2. Micro-Evolution - in simple life forms.
3. A current interpretation of the US constitution which throws out Creation or Intelligent Design from the classroom. Not because it is lacking as a science, but because inherintly it points to God. Of course the founding fathers did not see it a contradiction to use the Bible as a textbook, pray in school, write in God we trust on our currency, or talk about Him in the Declaration of Independence. This total secular interpretation is a new development in American History, and evolutionists have taken full advantage of it.
4. It is riding the wave of popularity as Europe and the Americas have become Secular in thought. It is a knee-jerk reaction to the continued attempts of the Catholic Church and her daughters to take over the government.
The strengths of the Creation Theory/Intelligent Design:
1.It is the only mathematically probable explanation for the existence of complex organisms.
2.It explains things that cannot be known or studied by science – like personality. Two twins have the same DNA and same basic environment, but radically different personalities. Science cannot measure this.
3.It confirms the observable and repeatable data seen in nature. Humans give birth to humans, monkeys to monkeys…
4.It is the logical conclusion of those who know that if something magnificent is to exist, it must be built. New York city did not build itself.
5.It does not defy the existing natural Laws, like the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.
6.It points to the dilution and downward trend of heath, humanity, and the world. The earth is not getting stronger with age, but worn out like an old pair of jeans. The human gene pool is deteriorating, not improving.

Evidence is physical proof. There is only conjecture and tradition that refer to creation. Some moldy old scrolls found in a jar, and that's it.
The fossil record is vast and irrefutable. Evolution is a demonstrable process.

Not sure about evidence for creation, I don't think there is any but for evidence of evolution just look at all those superbugs that are appearing.

They BOTH are right.. they prove the existence of God.
God = Creation (not to be confused with "creationism")
The creative minds prove God to be real.. we are created in "likeness" to God.
Everything that we "create" is shown as what God IS...Creation.
Everything that Man makes... including children show the creation process...
Evolution all supports this theory.. if you accept only evolution then you have to realize that a man turning into a woman IS also Evolution.. but of a creative mind.
Everything works hand in hand.. if everything was black and white.. then EVERYTHING would be explainable. Last time I recalled... we couldn't explain several things in this world... so what makes Evolution by itself so STRONG.
I have more teachings on creation here if you want to see.. (not to be confused with "creationism".

One of the greatest pieces of current evidence that disproves evolution is Mt St Helen. Fossils were formed in a matter of seconds. It is a worthy place to study and learn how carbon dating and many other aspects of the evolutionistic scandal have an erroneous basis. The study of nature should never be approached from a preconceived method. It should always be completely without bias.
