i understand that people can be shallow cause they can't help it. but my friends are kind of pretty but it seems like all these guys are crushing on them and not me. i don't really get it because there have been guys that tell me i'm cute/ pretty but they aren't the guys i want to like me.

By the looks of this question you sound very young. You'll grow up, guys will grow up and it will all be different. I'm sure your very cute, don't get down on yourself. When I was in high school good looking guys would date ugly girls all the time. It seemed like there were always too many cute single girls. No problem with that though. Good luck.

It's very important that you are yourself when your with your friends and the guys...Don't try to behave like your friends as you won't stand out from the others! If they're not the guys you want to like you; why don't try other activities or interests which you enjoy doing and you could meet a nice guy that way...annnnd... you'll both have the same interest! You shouldn't hve to worry about having to go out with a guy right now...just get some new interests and yourself ....sometimes you just have to build up new interests and guys will become interested that way!

Krissy, there are so many people of both genders that like someone for what they see and not always based on personality. Just be yourself and guys will like you for you. If they do not then the heck with them as you are worth more being yourself than trying to be someone you aren't. People either like me or they do not, but it is their loss if not. Without being arrogant, I know I am an attractive guy on the outside as well as in. Think of yourself as a complete package: good on the inside as well as out and guys will be more attracted to a secure girl/woman.

I agree with John pretty girls have it hardest. Either they get all the attention and their friends hate them or they make the guy's hearts melt and are single al the time. If they won't ask you out then their probably not worth it anyway. Just be patient.

That is probably because they can see that you are way too perfect to be their type .I suggest that you get on with your single life a better guy will come along leave those gays (that's what I call them )alone .I did.
