I'm looking for a poem or verse about unconditional love to write to my Nan, she may never read it but I will read it to her as she is dying. She was a wonderful lady and always had unconditional love for everyone, welcomed you in her home Nan was never rich with a lot of money but wealthy with love and caring and excepted you for what or who you are. Nan is 95 and has dementia, as we will not be buying her a gift I would like to give her words on how I feel.Any help out there I would be grateful. Thankyou A loving grand daughter

Unconditional Love

A treasure to be cherished,

A gift from God above;

Is the beauty of a friendship,

Touched by unconditional love.

A love that asks no questions,

Believes in all the best;

Never doubting, ever trusting,

Withstanding any test.

A love that weathers any storm,

And yet that love still stands;

Through the very darkest hour,

It still reaches out a hand.

There in that hand the sweetest gift,

That you can give a friend;

A heart that cares, a love that shares,

That will be there till the end.

A treasure to be cherished,

A gift from God above;

Is what I share with you my friend,

An unconditional love.

To your grandma having you as her grand daughter has brought so much joy to her life. Something special from your heart to her is the answer. A verse is wonderful also. But I'm sure she knows her God loves her. Although people always need to hear it! Let God work in your heart for only you can truly give your Nan the right gift! God Bless you and your Nan:)

The best one I know is the first book of Corinthians Chapter 13., in the Bible. It's often used at weddings, but it just talks about love. See what you think. God bless you.

Can't think of any. But you can try reposting the question in the arts & humanities section of answers. They have a poetry section. You may find some poetry buffs there who would know of something.
