Ask them to buy you a old car so you can practice with. That may get the ball rolling for you.

I took each of my kids in my new car, but only in an empty parking lot at night! That way there's enough room for troubleshooting. Just don't bust their chops; tell them how careful you'll be. They'll probably get you an old car when you get you license. If not, that's ok, things will work out!

Tell them that you will be a better and safer driver if you had practice. I like the homework idea. Being a parent that would work on me.

do what I did-
Ask-
for every 2 hours of homework I do-Can I have 30 minutes of driving time?
That way even though they have a new car, they'll feel positive about it because its helping you get your homework done at the same time.
Okay-nevermind!I see in one of your questions that you're graduated!
so basically, i have no answer to this, lol

AUNTS, UNCLES, NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS JUST ABOUT ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 21 AND DON'T MIND LETTING YOU DRIVE A VEHICLE THAT THERE INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER YOU.
