instead of taking weight gainers. try lifting heavy with your legs. doing stuff like single leg squats, lunges, and single leg calve raises doing it single leg makes your abs contract to keep your body stable and at the same time you're working out your legs so it's kind of like getting 2 workouts in one

Weight gainers won't help your legs, only weightlifting will do that. Start reading magazines about weightlifting or look for bodybuilding websites. You want to tone and get firm, that means a combination of diet, cardio and weightlifting. You have to do all three.
