The first sentence is fine.
The second one I would change to: "For example, he wrote that 'All men are created equal' in a time when slaves were considered property of white men. This sentiment was not one shared by many of his contemporaries."

All men are created equal means that all of us who human creatures of God are equally made the same . We have the sense of sight as the eyes, sense of smell as the nose, sense of feeling, touching and everything which is in you is in me and this is the same on the side of women. We are all equal in the sense tht we were all created from dust and will all return to dust equally, rich or poor men. Either you are ricxh or poor, you wilol die, rich or poor there is suffering and everything. OK?

OK, so here you have hypocrisy at it peak. It was well know that
Jefferson had a black mistress. He seemed to be an atheist in some of his writings but it has not yet been proven. In
any case, he was a successful man and may have been the originator of using chicken soup for a "get better" recipe.

Yes.. ALL men are created equal..
It's Man's desires that separate us. Even to this day with religion.. it separates even the most holy of the churches.. from the people who just like to "talk" or even go out to coffee with...
In some ways.. slavery and power haven't changed at all... just the society view of "power".
I have more teachings if you would like to know why creationism is proof that God is within us!

It is called propoganda.
The Dec of Ind was nothing more than a piece of propoganda that was meant to draw support for seperation from England. There is nothing wrong with that. It was an excellent piece of propoganda and was quite effective.
"As a proclamation, the Declaration was used as a propaganda tool, in which the Americans tried to establish clear reasons for their rebellion that might persuade reluctant colonists to join them and establish their just cause to foreign governments that might lend them aid."
deal with it people
It isnt a bad thing to be propoganda

It's only 6:10 PM here, so not late at all, so therefore nothing you have written makes sense really.
