Your friend could say something like:
"Have you tried shaving before? I think it would feel better"
(Whatever your friend does, it would always "feel" better...)

Realize it's natural & how it's supposed to be & shut up? Wow. Bad advice. If most men are like me, then the majority will be really turned off by this. Ever seen "Scary Movie"? I think the scariest part was where that hedge popped out of the girl's undies; that was just gross! Of course, I laughed my head off when the dude got the hedge trimmer & safety goggles & started mowing. That was hilarious.
Personally, I've found that if I even tell a woman I find women who are shaved or trimmed sexy, many will at least trim things closely. It benefits the girl, too, because what man wants to give women tongue lashings if he has to bury his nose in a shag carpet? That stuff tickles your nostrils. It took one experience doing that, which resulted in me sneezing in something other than a Kleenex, to make me decide never again unless she cleaned up the lawn. It looks cleaner, it's more pleasant for diving, & it's really just considerate. Trust me, there isn't a woman alive that I've looked at & thought she would be so gorgeous if only she had a big wad of fur under her beltline. Hopefully that was still gentle enough, & managed to give you some laughs, too.

I would focus on the getting hairs in the mouth issue, or how nice the smoothness would be, rather than "you are too hairy it looks gross." And if she grooms reasonably well, he can't blame her for not wanting to shave completely, it's itchy, and a pain to keep up.

Tell him that he should tell her, she doesn't want a gay guy, so he should act straight without sounding offensive of course, something like: I want you to shave it.

tell him to get some clippers and stencils i think you can actually get something like this at a sex shop and make it into a nice thing like give her a bubble bath and slowly bring to her like a new toy .

say it like this " I want to eat you out but im afriad i will get hairs in my mouth will you please try to shave" , it worked for me try it out . hope it works!
