there is lots that you can do with out equipment you just have to be creative. if you don't have weights you can use cans of soup, etc. check out the site below, there are tons of exercise that can be done with and with out weights.

It will help on the fitness ball yes ! But you will not loose weight from just doing sit ups ...You have to have a full body work out ...if you don't have money for the gym ..try going out around the block a couple of times etc. , The sit ups are only going to tighten your muscles up and their is no sense in doing that unless you lost some of that weight ! oh definite it facilitates some.
