Hi,

I will be applying for a skilled migration into Canada. As I was going thru the application I noticed Schedule 1 form, ques #9. I think my wife fails in 2 points:
- she was denied a US tourist visa once
- removed from port of entry in the US due to misrepresentation

Will this cause our application to be rejected?

The denial of a US visa and deportation from the US could be a disadvantage but you can offset it with other documents such as a credible work record or good financial standing.

Yes, what you pointed out could be reasons for your application to be rejected.
