when i hang my paper snowflakes with tape, it leaves spots on the ceiling and the tape is to weak so keep the snowflakes from falling down. What can I use that stays in place and is not distructive?

Why don't you try hanging that invisible fishing string wall to wall and hang the snowflakes from that. You could use a thumb tack to anchor it in the corner of the ceiling and wall.

Kalee,
you can hang some right at the top of the wall, on two walls opposite each other. Then string them from one wall to another. If you space them irregularly, and let some hang at different lengths, you can make them look like they are falling at different times, and in different places, instead of coming out on the grid you put them up on.

You can use 3M Command hooks to attach the strings of snowflakes up until you want to take them down, then they leave no mark.

Hmmm, good question, well I'd get duck tape.. lol jk, if you can go to home depot or something like that they have these little hooks that you can stick on your wall and hang stuff, and it comes with like 25 of them for like 1 dollar, but there good because when your done using them, just take a paper towel and some water and whipe the sticky off:) have fun.......mERRY Christmas lol xD peace

I have frequently hung things on my walls with straight pins. It leaves such a small hole you hardly notice. If you have a textured ceiling, I think you'd hardly be able to find the holes later. If it's smooth ceiling you might notice the holes.

I'm not sure what it's called, but there's that putty glue. It looks like clay and is usually gray in color. It goes on and comes off without peeling things. I also think it doesn't dry out. You should check it out and give it a try.

You can use sewing straight pins. They only leave a small hole which will be invisible to the eye.
