Can't he use insect repellants? Cover up and make sure there are good screens in the windows. Talk with your husband about what you want to do. If he doesn't bend, I would think there is another issue going on.

Your husband has to be more understanding and the midges and sand flys is nothing compared to having cancer. Be with your mother in this difficult time, otherwise you will regret it for the rest of your life. If your husband doesn't support you in this than maybe you just stay with your kids at your moms as long as she needs you. Your hubby has to understand and he has a choice either standing by your side or standing by himself for the time being.

I'd say if your mom needs your help with taking her to the doctors and such...and it would be nice that you lived close by.....here's one for your hubby...tell him that you want your mother to come live with you, where you're now living...I bet he'll change his mind quickly. If your mother really needs you there...move in with her and help her out. You only have one mom and when the day comes that she is gone from your life, you will miss her every waking day.

I wish your mom the best, and you too.

Be with your mother! You only have one mother, besides your husband doesn't have breast cancer, does he? Move closer to your mother, she will feel supportive and happy!
