Jesus was a Jew. Even the bible states, about the jews who were waiting for their messiah..."they knew Him not"
Jesus came the first time as a servant, to redeem mankind, the Jews were looking for a Messiah (king to rule over them) so they didnt recognize Him for who He was, and He was put to death, in fulfillment of prophecy.
Jesus will return as the Messiah, and will deliver Israel (Jewish people) from her enemies, and then the Jews will recognize Him, 'the one whom they pierced'. They will be very sad when they realize who he was, and what they have done.

Both Jews and Christians believe that there is a Messiah who will come and make everything right in the world. Christians believe it will be His second visit and the Jews are waiting for His first. Both Jews and Christians believe that the Messiah will be born physically from the bloodline of King David, who was a Jew. The bloodline is traditionally traced from the paternal side of a family... this is one reason why Jews don't believe that Jesus was the awaited Messiah: Because Jesus is recorded as having God as His true Father, and even though Mary is also from the lineage of King David, this is not considered, as tradition dictates to do otherwise.

Jeses is a jew for oen solid and factualy reason. we cna analyze it right here too. Jesus is the typical name of the savior of the human races as told by the bible and christians. Using exhibit A u can see that Jesus actually starts with the letter J. Now Jews on the other hand are the people who killed jesus according to the bible again. Now using complex calculus we can see that the word Jews starts with a J as well. To the simple mind this may not make sense but the connection is obvious to some. Jesus and Jews are the same.

Because the Jews beleived Jesus was a heretic. To all Christians, Jesus is the messiah. Jew do not beleive so.
And remember, Jesus did not live in the time of three religions that beleived in God (or Allah in Islam). There was only one religion that beleived in God at the time...the Jewish religion. Thus, it is only common sense that the Son of God should be born of a religion and people that beleive in God.

Jesus Mom and adoptive father were Jews.
The shepherds seeing the heavenly hosts saw what the angels testified to and found Jesus.
The Torah mandated sacrifice was done where Simeon and Anna testified to who Jesus was.
Then there was the 3 kings who found the Jewish king and paid tribute to him.
And then there was John who the Jews all went out to see who testified to whom he was.
And then there was G-d Himself who testified through the miracles.
Of course, Talmud observant Jews are the ones that actually have to prove when Christianity became a Gentile religion. On the Jewish holiday of Pentecosts, 120 Jews were praying when they had happen to them what happened to the prophets in accordance to what Joel the prophet and King David said. Since conversion is the only way to enter the church, let those stating the church is a Gentile religion state the point in time when the change was made.
During the time Jesus walked on the earth, Israel was under Rome's authority and Rome determined who was the high priest. At no time in previous Jewish history did being under another country indicate obedience to God so there is no reason to believe Roman rule over Israel came as a result of obedience.
Nor should the destruction of the 2nd Temple, the rape of all the women and the killing of the majority of men lead one to conclude that was from obedience.
So on what grounds do Talmud observant Jews say they are Jewish? There is no Temple, alter, priest, sacrifice or mercy seat as the Torah mandates. Unlike Jesus, today's can't prove their lineage to the destruction of the 2nd Temple. So how can anyone today claim to be Jewish?
Israel has been in Israel as free men for 59 years so the Torah observant Jews Ezra and Nehemiah write about bear witness against them.
As Ezra 2:62 indicates, even if those in Israel built a Temple, there can be no priest of Aaron's lineage.
And to our Evolutionist friend's, when the icy fingers of death cause you to breath your last breath, you can say that all your life was just a sandcastle standing against the incoming waves of time. All your life was meaningless because where you evolved from and where you decay to has no reason for being. E=MC^2 can't produce morality, love, purpose. It can only change form. And since "survival" is the most valued ideal of the survival of the fittest religion, genecide, suicide, ethnic cleansing, betrayal, rape, and abusive are all tools to be king of the hill for a moment. But in the final judgment, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus is LORD.

Hi....
Doesn't it actually say in the bible....
That Jesus is the 'KING OF THE JEWS'!!!
To be 'king of the jews', surely he would actually have to be jewish!!?
Although, as anyone with common sense knows:
JESUS WAS 'NOT' THE 'SON OF GOD'....
BECAUSE THERE IS 'NO' GOD!!!
NOTE!
By the way, this is 'not' a pick & choose answer site!
If you post a question, expect answers from many types of people, with different views, even views that go 'against' what you believe!!
Thanks for stating myself & others like me will:
'BURN'...
I have some info for you!
THERE IS 'NO' HELL TO BURN IN & 'YOU' ARE A VERY DELUDED PERSON!!!!
Ps...
If you actually believe in the 'messiah', i should take more care, in actually spelling the word correctly!!!!

Jesus was a Jew. He was born to Mary & Joseph, who were of the tribe of Judah. His ancestors were men such as David & Solomon, who were undeniably Jewish.
Most Jews never recognized him as the Messiah, and are still awaiting the first appearance of their messiah.
Usually only anti-Semites deny the Jewishness of Jesus.

Jesus' mother Mary descended from King David. So did his adoptive earth father, Joseph. All of them came through the tribe of Judah. That makes Jesus clearly a Jew.

No, humanity mainly because the meaning is lost by 'laying blame' on a particular race or sect. to boot... if it changed into "basically the Jews" who killed Jesus, would not it stand to reason that Jesus could then be the savior for "Jews purely"?? very last time I checked, Jews do not trust that.
