My computer only has 2007 version of Excel and Word. My computer teacher wants me to resubmit my assignment in a version other than 2007. How do I do that?

Since you already have this document saved, go to the file menu and choose "Save as..."

In the resulting dialog box, at the bottom click the drop down list button in the Save as File Type. Choose Word .doc file [ I think it might say "Word Document (*.doc)" ]

(sorry I am not at a machine with Word 2007 installed)

Click Save.

Despite what Buzz says, it seems clear that your instructor wants you to save your document in Word format, just not 2007, which may have been a better way for you to ask your question.

When you go to save it, pull down the save as tab in the window that pops up. (It's all the way at the bottom.) Choose a different option other than 2007.

It would be more cleared if you gave information what your teacher means by "version other than 2007"
example for MS Word: *.doc, *.xml, *.dot or
*.odt (OpenDocument Text from OpenOffice. org Writer)
Please clarify what kind of version, then go back to yahoo answer, we are happy to help you :)
