if they are unsettled by question marks inhabiting the spaces where other folks generally place some form of God, then become a Christian. Jesus does provide a decent moral compass, if you can't come up with one of your own that is. And for the chicks of course! The is nothing quite like releasing the pent up sexual energy of a beautiful catholic girl

Eternal life is a boat load of hogwash my friend, you will not know whether that truly exists even if you are christian. You just have to hope really really hard. Kind of like that time you wanted that Snoopy Snow Cone machine for christmas, but didn't get it. Don't set yourself up for disapointment unless you are really committed to the idea of fooling yourself for the rest of your life...

I am a Christian because of the hope that is offered for something better than this miserable existence. If this is really all there is (although God made it beautiful, humans make it a craphole) what's the sense in bothering to wake up day after day? If I didn't truly believe that something better awaited me for my faith and effort in this life, I'd be done with it before tomorrow. I press forward for the prize laid before me.

Unlike all other religions, Christianity alone possesses a founder who transcends death and who promises that His followers will do the same. All other (false) religions were founded by men and prophets whose end was the grave. As Christians, we take comfort in the fact that our God became man, died for our sins, was killed, and was resurrected the third day. The grave could not hold Him. He lives and He sits today at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. The living church has a living Head.

You should only do something because you want to. If you want to become a Christian then thats the only reason why you should be one, not because of anyone else. And that can be applied to almost everything in life.

If you believe it is possible for the murder of some random prophet to relieve you of all "sins" or wrongs you have commited in your life. Then christianity is for you. If you have a slightly more logical mind on the other hand...christianity is NOT for you.

Just knowing the fact that once you die you will have eternal life walking down golden streets of heaven and that everyday will be a lot better than the previous day. Plus, you will be away from the pain of this world and the everlasting pain your soul will have in hell if you give your life to Christ.

To know the love and mercy of the one true God.

For forgiveness of sin.

For salvation of the eternal soul.

Pretty much says it all.

So that you are saved. It has nothing to do with just being labeled as a Christian.
It is about submitting to the Lord whole-heartedly.
Excepting HIM in your heart, in your life, and in your soul.
You have to have faith and believe in Him.

because you can go to heaven, rather than hell. And you can actually have something to live for. Have an actual goal in life, rather than just living, dying, and that's it. But there is life after death. so you better be ready for it.
