If one is serious about not believing in God, or gods, or deities of any sort, then admitting that they're an atheist would likely be the intellectually honest thing to do.

2. People you love have taught you to only believe what you see.
3. You've seen evil in those who are glorified as righteous.
4. You've read contradictions in the bible.
5. Logic contradicts the bible.
6. We don't believe in good and evil, right and wrong.
7. People believe what they want to believe.
8. The devil has convinced you to follow in his foot-steps.

An athiest is someone who doesn't believe in God, or a higher being. A person should not have to think about being an athiest, because if you are with God, you are guaranteed eternal life.

good question i became one ironacally because of church the hipocracy of it all sickend me people telling you you need to acheive as close to perfect as possible then turn around and steal money from a church dinner dosent sit well with me
