What business structure do you have? Sole Proprietor, Partnership, LLC, Corporation (C or S Corp)?

Sole Proprietor - Form 1040, Sch C, Sch SE (also other forms based on whether you claim a home office, depreciation, etc.)

Partnership - Form 1065

LLC - One Person: As per Sole Prop., multi person: As per Partnership

S Corp - 1120S

C Corp - 1120

Form 1040 Schedule C or C-EZ for your revenue and expenses, then schedule SE for self employment tax. The numbers from the bottom of the two schedules will transfer to a form 1040.

I go to my accountant and he files my taxes, because there is so much stuff you can write off, which you are probably not aware of. It's money well spend.
