I ask a simple question and before i know it i've got 20 christians telling me to go to hell....
seems awful hateful for a group of people who follow a pacifist.

How dare you ask such a question. What gives you the right to judge? Why, what high horse did you just climb off of? Yes, I see that chip on the shoulder, who is going to be the first to knock it off?
Don't paint with a broad brush not all Christians are hostile or want to send everyone to Gehenna. In a forum like this, one that reaches out all over the U.S. and elsewhere, you are going to get a mixed bag.

It certainly is out of character for a Christian, yet it is more than that, it is out of character for any human being to be so illmannered whether Christian or Atheist. It is indicative that all human beings are weak. You have a choice in this matter though. Either just complain or love them all the same. Your choice. I suggest loving them all the same, you will be at peace then. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the light of His face shine upon you.

No a lot of the are really that rude. The good news is that most Christians in the world aren't like the ones here. Thank the gods.

A bit twisted aren't you, and a 1/2 truth teller. Your question was ranting about afterlife options and you basicall said that to be in heaven would be dreary for you so any Christians that told you to just go to hell, were referring to the fact that if you aren't a Christian, that's where you are going. They weren't proclaiming that they want you to go to hell.
But hey, you already knew that.

maybe it's just you...after all you are a WACO lol....but in all seriousness, some people are rude and some people aren't...being a Christian should change people, but it doesn't in all cases...and let's be honest...the atheists on here aren't exactly the nicest people when it comes to answering questions that the Christians ask either

Yeah, I have tried to point that out to them. Not all are in that state of decline. Some are very sweet and sincere, like batgirl2. People are becoming more of what they already are it would seem. The irony.

I good deal of them are rude, yes. Especially the ones who can't get by without allcapping every other word.
However, I dislike the ones who are all lovey-dovey about their faith almost as much and sometimes more. It's just white noise to me.

I am a Christian and I have never in my 59 years of being a Christian told anyone to go to hell. So, do you think maybe you are stretching it a bid indicating everyone acts a certain way because they or Christian, atheist, Buddhist or what not?
