I live in an old apartment complex. The carpet is a purple with burgundy color and the walls are off white. I want to get sofa covers and curtains for the living room and not sure what colors would blend best. HELP!

Camel, honey or sand for the covers; same or ivory window panels with gold or purple/burgundy tiebacks or trim. Throw pillows that have the carpet color and the slipcover color in different, luxurious textures (velvets, chenille, suede, fur) will pull them together.

The right green, somewhere between sage and olive, not too "sweet" could also work.

I would go with a rich gold. Something with a deep warm tone. I saw those colors together on a decorating show and it looked so regal and rich. Good luck :)

Navy or dark green. I think I would look for a plaid with all 3 colors in it or a stripe fabric. Also wine colored leather. If you want elegance, champagne.

if you like minimalist design: i prefer your sofa would be white too therefore your carpet would be eye catching.
but if you want to be more colorful, you should try maroon color or pink.
