alrighty, i have medium brown hair.... used hydrogen peroxide and now it's yellow..... bright yellow.
i want it to be a dark blonde color and i just don't have the money to go to a professional.
i've never dyed my hair before so i feel weird that i have a yellowish-orangey head.

so how can i get my yellow hair to be a dark blonde?

It Should Be Possible To Get To Dark Blonde From Medium Brown Using A Good Haircolor WITHOUT BLEACHING It First. Try FERIA® #64 Créme Brûlée OR #71 Chi Latte OR #72 Caramel Kiss OR ColorSpa® #42 Dark Blonde There Are Many Other Choices/Brands Check The Web.

P.S. You Can Use These On Your Bleached Hair Too - But The Result May Be Lighter

Good-Luck!

You can use a toner like silver or blue to tone down the yellow but don't leave it on too long or you could end up blue. If you want to re-colour it a darker shade of blonde you need to be careful that it doesn't turn green. If you go to a shop which sells hair products(Hairhouse Warehouse etc.) they will advise you on which products to use. Generally, a colour which has red in it will stop it from turning green. Do a strand test first no matter which way you decide to go.

color correction is rough to do yourself. You really need a professional to take care of it. I can't tell you if the dark blonde is going to take well because I'm not sure the level of yellow you have. Whatever you use-semipermanent and a cool based color, like an ash to cancel out the gold. No guarantees....guarantees only when going to a pro!

well i would just get a packeged color that you like and dye it, it cant really get that much worse, and if you cant go to a pro that may be your best option. put petrolium jelly around you hairline before you dye so you dont dye your skin
