The Giant Sequoia. They start off as tiny little seeds, and grow into the largest organisms on the planet. They are very rare and have a range determined by the flow of glaciers.

Cherry tree.
You get pretty flowers in spring, edible fruit in the proper season, and the wood makes very pretty furniture.
So... pretty, tasty, and practical.
You could, of course, say something similar about apple trees. But cherry wood is used for furniture more often than apple wood.

The weeping willow. I like it because it forms like a little hut, and it's a great place to hang out or read.

palm tree cause it reminds me of the beautiful ocean ...and birds and nests and hawaii and bali ..i love palm trees ..i love the way they sway in the wind i love the color of their frawns i love the prickles on their trunk i love the name of the tree ..i love to lay under them in the sun i love the palm tree more than i love life itself ...good question
