No.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24
Name one man that made it to heaven because they were religious? The catholic church is just a religion--it saves no one.
All the catholic church does is:
"Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition," Mark 7:13
"For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?" John 5:46-47
"let God be true, but every man a liar;" Romans 3:4
Being baptized doesn't made you saved. All that proves is that you got wet. Go to the website below and it will show you how to get saved.

Christian and Catholic churches do have some very big differences, aswel as some things the same!
One example, is that a Catholic church has a priest, and above him, the pope. They believe that they can't talk to the Lord directly, and that they need someone to intercede on their behalf, ie, the priest! That is why they have to go to confession!
A Christian, however, believes that they don't need anyone to intercede for them. They pray directly on their own behalf, and for anyone or anything else they care to pray for!
A born again Christian has accepted that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, and ask Jesus into their lives as Lord and Saviour. They are truly sorry for their sins, and will turn away from their sins. Then they are born again, because the old self dies, and the Holy Spirit enters them and brings about a new and spiritual life!
You should pray for guidance, and read your bible to get a better understanding of what faith and beliefs you have!
I hope this helps!

If you're a baptized Catholic you are already born again. Don't let some Bible study group's head games snatch you away from the promise Jesus gives you in your baptism! No "personal decision" you make can ever begin to compare with the miracle Jesus has already given to you. Hang onto it.

"Born-again" Christians are simply protestants with a different interpretation of the bible. The problem with this is A) by what authority do they interpret scripture, and B) are their interpretations correct?
No, you can't be both. There is the Church that Christ founded (Catholic Church), and there's those that weren't.
God bless.

I recommend you go and speak to a minister and a priest. If you can get them together in a room with you, you might find some real answers. The main difference between Catholics and Christians is found by looking at the sovereignty of God, the role good works play in the sinner's salvation, and the means of grace. I would ask each of the "experts" of your chosing to help define these aspects of their beliefs and then compare them to the scriptures, which should ultimately be your decision maker. Be sure to ask the holy spirit to endow you with supernatural understanding of the scripture and find out for yourself. Hope you will take this challenge as Christ will change your life if you are His.

Read John Chapter 3 when Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus.
Being "born again" has nothing to do with sectarian beliefs, ie, Protestant, Catholic, etc., it has entirely to do with the individual person and their relationship with God.
You, by yourself, must decide to be born again in God by the power of the Holy Spirit. You do this by acknowledging that you are a sinner, that Jesus died for your sins, and that you want Him to forgive you, now and always. If you truly believe this, you are born again, whether you call it that or not.
Catholic brother (or sister), God bless you as you seek Him, and I, a Protestant, look forward to standing with you in the presence of the Lamb before His throne.

RCs and born again Christians are totally different. For one, Christians do NOT worship Mary and the pope, as RCs do. We know that Mary was a sinner like the rest of us. She did not perform miracles as Christ did nor did she die on the cross for sin as Christ did. She also recognized Christ as her Lord and Savior - RCs pray to her (which is a form of worship) and make statues of her. The RC church prays to Mary for intercession, which is wrong! CHRIST is the ONLY mediator between God and man.
The RC church believes that you can 'earn' your way to heaven by doing good works, but the truth is, you can't get to heaven by doing good works; cannot 'earn favor' with God. You need to repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation! Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the LIife; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me".
Confession is also wrong. You don't confess your sins to another sinner, as the priests are also born into this world as sinners. You confess your sins straight to God - NOT another sinner.
Their communion is different. Their 'turning wine into the blood of Christ' and the 'wafer' into Christ's flesh is a symbol of cannibalism, which is an abomination.
They believe in abstaining from eating meat - 'Lent', but NOWHERE in the bible does it say to abstain from eating meat, but rather, we are to give thanks in ALL things, including meat, which is food.
The RC church has the bible on their list of 'forbidden books', which means the RC church does not read or preach from the bible, but their OWN doctrine. The RC church is nothing more than a man-made false religion that adheres to their own rituals, rules and regulations - NOT God's word.

Being born again means being saved by Jesus Christ who sends the Holy Spirit to seal a person.
Catholics believe that the church saves them. Don't bet your eternal soul on it.

NO
religion is man made
Not God made
one cant follow the traditions of man
and serve God
you cant serve two masters
One must Serve GOD and Obey HIS WORDS
and live as He lived
not as man says nor traditions depict
for the bible says the Traditions of man makes Gods word of no affect
saying because of traditions you dont follow HIM...and what He says to you means nothing just the traditions you do !!
ALL religions are man made
GODS WORD is the ONLY TRUTH
