He almost asked me out a few months ago... then told me he liked this mutual friend of ours. I've known him for 13 years. He's 20 I'm 16 almost 17. But then on Sunday, in front of both his mum and mine he jumped on me out of the blue and playfighted with me... his mum was shocked as and told not to be rough (lol, he was being really gentle... just made it look otherwise) and then whispered to my mum and asked her if we were friends... He and I have only started talkin to each other for a few months. Anyway, for the past 2 weeks (we go 2 da same church), he has asked me if I'm going to this dance... does this sound like he's interested in me again? I know it kinda does but I want a guy's opinion. he may just being friendly but not in front of our parents!! Please give me advice as to what I should say to him... I really REALLY like him a lot. thanx fellas

I'm not a guy, but he is definately into you. There is no way he would be worrying about whether you are going to the dance unless he wanted to either invite you along or dance with you when you get there. If he does not invite you, then go anyway and hang around next to him like you are his date during the dance, then see how he reacts. If his own mother thinks he likes you - he likes you, because she knows him since he was a baby!

Play a little hard to get, don't be too easily won, no matter how much you like him. They lose interest if they get what they want too quickly, the contrary creatures.

So if he asks you again about the dance, tell him you're thinking about going.

Country guys like the same thing any other guy likes. Be yourself and let things happen as they will.
