I know the military pays on the first and 15th but what if those days fall on a weekend. When do they deposit the checks through direct deposit or give out pay?

should be like SSA & VA. If the payday fall on a weekend, you get paid the Friday before. Hope this helps.

You will only get paid through direct deposit and if the pay day falls on a weekend you will get paid on the Friday prior to the weekend.

The military only pays through direct deposit. If the payday falls on weekend or holiday, you will be paid the Friday before. For eample, we get paid this Friday since payday is this weekend.
Some banks (like USAA) pay when the deposit is pending so you would be paid Thursday.

if it falls on the weekend then you get payed direct deposit the friday before payday. and you dont have the choice of getting your pay "give out to you" or direct deposit. its all done by direct deposit.

If the 1st or 15th falls on a weekend it will go into your account the Friday before, so the 15th was on Sunday you would get paid on the 13th.
