What I mean is that Christ saved ALL from hellfire.
Hell is for Lucifer and his demons.

Obviously, I don't believe in hell, I'm just interested in getting feedback from those that do.
Here is what the original languages say:

The word translated "hell" never existed until Constantine. When it is boiled down to the original languages, and the use of exaggeration, it is quite a different story than what you've been told.

Ummm... no. I am a Christian and I believe that. However, I do believe there will be some people who are destroyed in the lake of fire at Judgment. (That is not hell, it is the second death... as in cease to exist)
Hell just means the grave... anyone who doesn't live until the resurrection goes there for a time. The dead know nothing.
EDIT: I don't think you would be in danger of destruction for having that belief but I think you would be kind of confused. The Bible does talk about the destruction of the wicked. The lake of fire was PREPARED for the devil and his angels... that doesn't mean that some of his followers won't wind up there too. It just means that God does not intend for any to perish, which is why He sent His Son to die for us. He isn't going to stop free will though, and if someone rejects the gift He has given.... That is their choice.
EDIT: Kudo's on knowing that "hell" only means grave. So many people do not. God doesn't want us scared into coming to Him, He wants us to come because He loves us! Good article by the way! Thanks for sharing.

Well there is a place where bad souls congregate. That is why it is better not to get into some icky spiritual stuff. There is a biblical hell, but it is the spiritual trash heap. There is hell on earth and some people are living hell currently. This is our transitional period where our worth is tested and it is tested all our days. So one may say they are saved by just the grace of Jesus, but if they continue to do things they know in their heart to be wrong and never try to realize it and have a repented heart they are not saved and they will be stuck in the spiritual trash heap. (Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.) Sound familiar. Just try to behave and do the best you can, follow the teachings of Jesus and love God and have a thankful heart for all the gifts God gives you and you should be fine. Think of the Bible as an instruction manual of how not to mess up your life and to live a free life with no regrets. Salvation is as much for the here and now as it for after our life is over and we go back home, because that is where our souls really belong, but we can't go back until our lessons are learned.

Christian believe there is a hell.
Christ died for our sins so that we may all go to heaven. But the choice to accept Christ as our Savior is our choice. Once we do, all our sins can be and are forgiven. Everyone is in danger of hellfire, including Christians.
So long as you accept God as your God and Christ as your Savior and do not betray them to worship the Devil, the chances of you burning in hell are very small.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself....and he wasn't preaching to demons....
" He that believes (the gospel) and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)
Jesus called it a literal place of REAL torment.

Either you do or do not believe in Jesus and what He said in God's Holy Word. Jesus had more to say about hell than heaven in the Bible. Jesus died for you so that you would not die spiritually and be separated from Him. That place of separation is the lake of eternal fire = the final hell. You cannot pick and choose what you believe in the Bible. If you do then you are calling Jesus a liar. Trust God/Jesus and His Word through faith and do not lean upon your own understanding. God bless.

Good to see you back frenzy!...huggs!
How's this for confusing...I both agree with you and disagree with you...not in a wishy-washy "maybe" way but my perspective allows me to believe hell is for a lot more than Lucifer AND believe the Jesus atoned for all. I'll try to explain...
I agree that Jesus died to forgive the sins of the world. As such, the perspective of hell as a punishment for sins loses all meaning...if all sins are forgiven then punishment is irrelevant and thus the idea that God would "send someone to hell" because of their sins is nonsensical!
At the same time, I also believe that Jesus made it perfectly clear that not everyone would enter the kingdom of God. What happens to those that don't get to enter? The way I see it, that is "hell"...it is the "place" you go if you aren't allowed to enter God's house. ...but this isn't punishment, it is simply a natural fact. Inside or outside...you choose.
Consider this example. Suppose I post a job on Monster.com for a position that requires the person to speak a specific language...am I punishing you if I don't offer you the job because you don't speak that language? Carrying it a step farther, suppose you're in a "hellish" situation here on earth...unemployed, about to be evicted, no money for food, and in need of urgent medical care. No skills, no job prospects when you meet someone who offers to provide for all your needs if you will become his apprentice...and when you finish the apprenticeship, he'll give you greater responsibilities and rewards as a partner in his business? If you turn down his offer, is he punishing you if it lets you live (or die) with your choice?
Jesus didn't eliminate hell, he eliminated the idea that hell is God's punishment for sins. God created us, humans in general and each of us specifically, to serve a purpose...he has a job for each of us to do and that job transcends the limits of our earthly lifetime...he has a job for each of us to do on earth and another job (a much better one) planned for us in his kingdom. However, if we choose not to get the appropriate training here on earth, we won't have the qualifications to do the job he has for us in his kingdom!
Hell isn't God's punishment...it is simply what happens to us when the life God gave us on this earth ends if we choose not to take advantage of his offer to train us for a position in his kingdom!

The bible does teach that there is a hell...only it isn't a place of fiery torment it is just mankind's common grave. Christ's sacrifice was need because we all sin whether we are trying to or not. But we will be responsible for our deeds especially once we know they are wrong.

I'm sure your fine. I'm "Christian" but I think Jesus is either:
-Alein from another planet (lol)
-made up (some bored guy wanted to make up a 'history' book from the beginning of time to end)
-true but edited to make it sound better than it actually is (most possible one)
All in all, if everyone would just RESPECT (grade 1 skill here) everyone elses religion and race we as a society would be ok. But some of us still don't. D: Like the two people the pulled the down thumb on me.

Words translated as "Hell." [According to Wikipedia - see Hell wiki above.]

In the King James Bible, the Old Testament term Sheol is translated as Hell 31 times. However, sheol was translated as "grave" 31 times. Sheol is also translated as pit three times.
Gehenna:
In the New Testament of the KJV, Gehenna is always translated as Hell.
Hades:
The KJV translates Hades as "Hell" 10 times, and as "grave" once. Hades is traditionally the Greek word for Sheol.

The KJV translates tartarus, which appears only in II Pet. 2:4, as "Hell".
Abaddon:
The Hebrew word Abaddon, meaning "destruction", is sometimes used as a synonym of Hell.
Infernus:
The Latin word infernus means "being underneath" and is often translated as "Hell".
