My parents have a dsl modem up in the front of the house, but instead of running a cable all the way out to my room I was wondering if it's possible to get wireless from the modem on my desktop. My desktop does not have wireless internet software, so what would I have to get for the computer and the modem 2 set up wireless internet. Thank you

go buy a wireless card for your computer. you can find some for as cheap as $60 at future shop or best buy. i have one for my computer but make sure you buy one that has a large enough range to reach your modem from your computer. hope this helps =D

a wireless router and make sure your computer can receive the signal --- see a computer store for the best choices for your situation
