It totally depends on the individuals preferences, I personally dont mind it, me being 25 yr old. For me what matters is the comfort level that he gives me and love. My fiance often complains about hair loss and hairline receding and fear that I would stop loving him if he gets bald. To be very honest I find him very attractive whenever he balds. Job also doesnt matter, who is rich today can be poor tomorrow and who is poor today can be rich tomorrow. For me what matters is to know whether do I have that much capabilities to stand up and earn living for my family and me? And the answer is Yes, I do.

That's comb-over not comeover!
(But hey, they can come over to my house.)
At least they have hair long enough to comb over. Not like these skin-heads in their 20's that shave their heads on purpose to look a certain way. To me, that looks severe!
And let's be honest. I am 55. When I was 20 guys wore really long wild hair. That was the look. Now my hubby is 60. He seems sheepish about his male pattern baldness that has started to occur. I honestly think that men must be more worried about this than women are. Maybe their friends ridicule them in private.
As for comb-overs...they are not really practical. First of all, on a windy day, they get all messed up. Why not just get a haircut that shows what's what and face the world as you are? For instance...If peope don't like you the way you are, then F'K 'Em..they're not friends.!
Last of all, if a woman wants to date you because of the size of your wallet (AKA GOOD JOB) then that is one shallow be-och...don't go there, unless you yourself only go for the wrapping on the package, not what is actually inside!!! (Then you both deserve each other if that is the case.)
When I was in my twenties the older, heavier guys with less hair were not attractive to me, but the older I get (Or more mature, as I like to think about it) the better I like the chunky, older, baldish-receding hairline type guys. In fact, Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) is HOT!!! And look how much S-E-X he got on that show!!! Or was that because the script-writers just had to include lots of sexy scenes...Hmmmm?
Or what about the sexy host of CNBC's Mad Money...Jim Cramer. Now there is a guy with a huge personality, a buffed body, going bald, very confident and well...I imagine he has a good job too, but ...he once lived in his car....probably when he had hair!
Anyway, Once the lights are out, it's all about personality and performance, not looks. So if you have a receding hairline, polish-up on the things that you can improve upon, and stop worrying about the genetics. Be a considerate lover, have a good, out-going personality, comb your hair naturally, and face the world with confidence. NOW THAT"S A TURN-ON.

I feel like men that have a balding problem and try to cover it up may have a bit of insecurity issues and that may cause them to be more sensitive to the little things that you may have done as appose to blowing it off. I would date a person who was balding if they where secure with it. I really don't care too much if they have a great job or not because you never know, if they lose that job then what? If he makes me laugh and if he have this certain type of Orr about them. I don't like to say my age but I am over 25.

My husband tried that once and only once! I told him he needs to cut it short and just accept the fact that he's going bald- who cares, just deal with it. Now he cuts it really short and wears a baseball hat 95% of the time.
I don't find comb overs to be attractive. I don't mind receding hairlines or even baldness but no comb overs. My husband has been losing his hair since he was 16. I think he's sexy with or without hair.
I'm 25 by the way.

I'm too young to be looking at guys with comb-overs, but I if I were older, I don't think I would really care what their hair looked like. Hair doesn't reflect personality. It can sometimes show some for of expression, but you can't tell what someone will be like from their hair. Plus a lot of guys go bald. It's not their fault. It would just be silly to reject them for such a shallow reason.

What do I think of your question? It's an excellent question.
What do I think of men who use the combover method. EEEUUUUGGGGHHHH! I think it's very ugly. If you're losing your hair, shave your head. Much more attractive.
By the way, I'm 39. I find bald men attractive, especially if they keep the rest of themselves in good shape. The bald look is VERY virile!

When I married my husband, he had a full head of hair (he was 22) Now he is 34, and he is loosing his hair, and growing some on his back, but you know what.....I still love him the same. when i was younger, I would probably (honestly) not liked him, but I am so glad I am with him. My standards changed with age....It really has nothing to do with whats on his head, but rather, what is in his heart. He is the most gentle, honest guy I will ever know!
Please give the guy a chance, if you love his personallity!

Age 27-
Preference- Go with the hand that you were dealt. I think that it makes a man look older than he really is if he combs it over. I also think that it shows you that he is insecure with his looks. I think that if the hair is going really bad shave it all off of keep a close buzz cut. Add a little facial hair like a goatee----yeah!

I think that the comeover is really pathetic - I don't care how old I am - they look like dweebs. They look like they are trying so hard to look younger - like I can't tell they are BALD. I'd rather have a Kojak than someone pretending to be something they are not. I guess the comeover is better than a toupee though! hahahaha!
