Why do Muslims blame the mainstream media for distorting their image?

Those beheading videos are not part of the 'media.' They're just viral videos and there's literally a new one every day. I mean if you can find other people who chant "God is great" as they murder their victims it's not an Islam problem after all.

Yeah but there's a difference from a straight-out murderer and a murderer who believes he's fulfilling God's wishes.

Correct, but they failed to show that America have killed 650,000 muslims by pounding from air.They make big fuss of suicide bombing which kills in maximum 50 person, but ignore that carpet bombing and b2 bombing kills thousands in one go.

That's because the Mainstream Media only show the endings and never show nor tell the public when and how this whole mess got started. Remember, the world is not controlled by the Muslims. There is always a Master Mind behind every devious scheme that goes on. The media is paid to cover up the truth. The Master Minds are the ones who throws all the rocks, then hide their hands. We muslims blame the mainstream media for distorting our image because a small event about the bad doing of muslim was announced to the public as it is a bigest event of muslim terrorist..Media do not treat muslims fairly as the bad doings of christians who invaded and killed many of innocent Iraq and Afghanistan's people and Iraelis who killed innocent palestinian people almost everyday.,the media did not announce it to the public..Media regarded it as a usual event.
Media did not elaborate how cruel they treated the muslim prisoners of war. in jails.Muslim suicide bombers in Iraq are the retaliation of muslims to the invaders .The root cause of muslim terrorism is the cruel oppresion of non muslim to muslims in several areas on this earth.Hard liner muslims feel that they should help other muslims by any action that they could do..Us government spent US $1.9 trillion in the war of Iraq and Afghanistan for murdering the people.

Islam is 700 years younger than christianity and probably at about the same level of evolution christianity was 700 years ago. They also did their share of beheading,although obviously the technology to record the act did not exist. But even then,how many christians were involved? Did your typical christian peasant of 700 years ago go about beheading people? Of course not. So it is with Islam.

Well... whenever the defenseless Iraqis kill invaders, they are called "islamic extremists" by the media.. killing people what not.. but when the Israelis kill Palestenians ..media aint gonna called them "jewish extremist" or even Americans killing Iraqis (blackwater case), they wont use Christian extremist.. so, ppl wont see that because they are themselves fed the same line almost everyday about "the evil Muslims" -- almost like auto-programming

i think u saw "The Da Vinci Code" movie, where the blond monk killed many people in the name of God calling them sinners (not even infidels!)

You could ask the question about blacks or gays. The problem is that 1 example gets taken by the media and spun up into a stereotype.
