i mean do guys these days have the courage to ask girls out or do they need help from friends, or some kind of clue from the girl that she might like him? i like this guy, but i think he likes me. Im kinda afraid to ask him. What does it take to show a guy you want to be asked out?

yea, show a little interest...give him your confidence...and the answer to your question is usually not...Most guys don't have guts to ask a girl out because they are afraid that it will ruin their friendship if she says no..

My son always sees a girl he'd like to get to know better but he doesn't have the courage to go up and talk to them. He feels insecure. He says he's afraid of rejection. I just tell him to go up and make small talk and ask her for her is she'd like to get together some time. I always ask him what he has to lose. He didn't know her before. The worst she could say is no and you'd just move on to the next.

I ask out girls a lot! My success rate is probably 40% but I keep at it. You will never find the right one if your not looking! Thats like trying to win the lottery but you don't buy tickets.

Give him signs for example make remarks that you like someone and would like to go out with them but make it obvious that your telling him.

well, maybe you should just ask him, it's not the end of the world, ask him to go get coffee or something, it's easy, him doing it is not any easier than for you to do it. don't contradict your-self.
