I got accepted to Chico St. and I submitted my intent to enroll, but now I can't go there because money wise so can I cancel and not go there or will they make me go to college there?

Call the admissions and tell them that you want to go and fully intended to go to their school. Tell them that you have a clearer picture of your finances now and just can't afford it. Ask them who to talk to and if they have any suggestions.
Make the same telephone call to financial aid.
Be professional, be polite. You never know when you will reach someone who can really help you and you want them on your side.

They can't make you go to college there, but they can keep your deposit. Why don't you call or write to them? Perhaps they will give you more financial aid, if that is the issue. Tell them what your issue is and they may be able to help.

I would suggest calling the admissions office and telling them your situation, if they can not unenroll you they can at least tell you how or tell you what department to call.
If you've already signed to accept loans then you should also cancel them, to do that you have to call the loan office specifically.
