Do not forget about a very important ceremony - taking the precepts. You can learn about it in any Buddhist temple.

By taking the 5 precepts;
1) Not to take a life
2) Not to steal
3) Sexual fidelity
4) Not to take intoxicants
5) Not to lie
If you can find a monastery nearby then go there on a full moon,half moon night and take precepts with other lay people.
And enjoy Frank

Try going to the library and reading whatever you want on the subject - all free. If still interested, read more, and begin to practice, and go to a temple if you like and speak to someone there.
