i heard if u say one bad word u get banned for ps3 live an you can never go live again. is it true?

No, I don't think they would. So many people on those online games curse at each other, and it makes it imposible to ban everyone. If you ever played counter-strike on pc, you will know what I mean.

well lol first its PlaystationNetwork and no its not true if you cuss someone out like crazy and a mod/admin is in the game they might warn you or rarely ban you from the game for a few days but you can still play other games i used to glitch alll the time and i only got banned twice once for 3 days and then for 5 then after that i herd its 2 weeks and then perminent but if they whent around banning ppl like crazy no one would by the game if getting banned was imminent. And don't listen to chapso14 he's just spreading rumors to make him slef feel important lol

No, that's not true at all, though if you're caught intentionally cheating and glitching over and over you can be banned for a small period of time, and further down the road you can be banned. But that's the same with xbox live.

Ya thats not true, I head someone say a racist slur on COD4 and no one even said a peep about it. It wasn't harsh but it was noticable, but It didn't seem to offend anyone, and people kept playing. So you will not get banned for one word, even one phrase, not unless you spend hours and hours of constant swearing...but then you can expect to be banned.

I doubt it I know they're more strict about stuff like that then Microsuck is beacuse the PS3 network is free and they figure why let you have the privilege of playing online if your just going to abuse it like tha but i doubt they'll ban you permanently

People will end up muting just you every time you enter a game so your swearing might be useless, if you act like an idiot everytime you play a game. I know that one player in particular, everytime people see him enter the game that they are playing they all leave even the players on the other teams. He finally tried apologizing every time he entered a new game and people still left. I think he finally changed his game tag and refrains from being an idiot when he plays.

nahh but when Playstation 3 HOME comes out if anyone spams they get there ps3 locked and you can go on ps3 live again

Nope, I don't think so. If you try to cheat or something though you might get banned.
It's also called the PlaystationNetwork not the PS3 live.
