OK I finally have to go to the courthouse (or I'll be arrested)... A friend of mine said she told them "I dont think I can be un-biased" and they STILL picked her for a trial, so now I'm scared. I thought about saying "I hate blacks etc." but a co-worker said they can use that if I ever look for a job.

So when they call me, what type of questions will they ask, and whats the best answers to give in order NOT to be picked?

First of all let me say, that chances are pretty good that even if you get chosen from the jury pool, you will not pass the questions asked by the attorneys.
It seems to me, that as onerous as JD is, if ya just do it, and get it done with, then ya don't have to worry about it again for a few years.
BTW, unless it is a high profile case, most cases for one never go to trial, or they they don't last long.
You can also see the cases that are being heard by checking to see what cases are posted for that day.
Also, I'm going to say this....
We are given a chance to make a difference in our community when we are called upon for Jury Duty.
It is one of the few times we can actually participate in a our government....and make a statement in our community, about what behavior we find acceptable or not.
Those who shirk that responsibility have no right to complain then, when drunk drivers kill injure or maim, they have no right to complain when a business has defrauded them, they have no right to ***** about rapist that are set free, or child molesters in their neighborhoods, because these are the types of cases that are solved in our courtrooms each and every day. You can make a difference as long as you participate.

My mother-in-law is a detective and told me that if I ever had jury duty I should just say something like "Well, I think if he's been arrested he must be guilty. Cops wouldn't make a mistake like that." I don't know for sure if it would work, but she highly recommended it.

Your best bet is to move to a country where the accused have no right to a trial by jury. Try Iran or Sudan.

Try to apply it as a personal experience that may have happened to you. Or just claim that you cannot be unbiased because it happened to a family member. Or claim religious bias.

Tell them you have no intention of serving on a jury, rip up your voter registration card and then ask which office you can go to so you can void your U.S. citizenship!
