Teach him to bring you items,like shoes or telephone or open and close the doors, or to turn off or on the light switches.

If he has toys, you can save the trouble of picking them up yourself by teaching him to pick up his own toys! If you have a maid, that is a little less money to pay them! =D

Teach him to pick stuff up on cue.
A easy (and helpful) trick is to teach him to pick up his leash and hand it to you.
