If you love something, let it go
If it comes back, it's yours
If it doesn't, it never was

He probably does still love you but it's just really hard to have a long distance relationship. I don't want to be the one to tell you this but he might be trying to let you down as softly as he can by telling you he needs his space. i mean, your right...if it's already only a vacation kind of relationship that what more space does he want?! He may be thinking it would be better for the two of you to find someone a lot closer that you can actually go out with and be with. Think about it. Don't you want that too?

Maybe he means talking on the phone, IM, email...ect. Sometimes people need to breath and think about what they want in life. It might be that he feels that there is too much stress from being lonely because of the long distance relationship. But maybe he just needs time to get things together. Talk to him, find out whats wrong and be understanding, dont fly off the handle right away and never accuse him of anything. Just let him know that you care and you want to do whats best for him.

The same exact thing happened to me. By boyfriend said he needed a break but he still loved me. He even said we were still going to be boyfriend/girlfriend but he just wanted to move out to have some space. So he moved out and I later found out that he moved in with another woman.

There is nothing you can do but give him some space. He may also be seeing some one else. This is one of the indications that some one needs to re- evaluate the relationship with you. It's just another way of saying they want to date other people. (sorry)

Sounds like he is tired of the long distance relationship and has spotted a new sweetie close by. Give it up. Don't contact him. If he calls fine, but don't bet on it happening too often.

Why would somebody ask for a break if you are not even together in the same place? Something is fishy. Confront him to tell you the truth and ask yourself if he is worthy to be with you.

This is code for:
"I want to break up and I found someone else (or I can't keep the committment) but i'm too chicken to actually say those words".

He's saying he wants to break up. Sorry to be blunt. It's time to move on. Time heals all wounds.
