So, around 3-4 times a day for the past year i've been getting these throbbing pains, and sometimes this electric shock feeling in the arm, leg, neck area. sometimes my side. not all at the same time and it usually lasts for a couple minutes and sometimes longer.

That sounds a little strange for sure..in that you have let it go on for a year!Not sure what that could be...you need to have a physical, xrays,blood work etc...even then with those vague symptoms it may not get diagnosed right away...unless something shows up on your tests

Go to a doctor and find out what's happening. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
Seriously, it sounds like serious symptoms that only a doctor can diagnose....

Keep a log of when this happens and what you are doing at the time. Many things can be causing symptoms.
