if you do a good job he is probably trying to keep you --- anything else would be too much trouble now and in the future ---- enjoy the recognition

First off...this coming from someone that is a boss... If he is a good person and he's interested in you then he'll let you quit and then date you so that he doesn't jeopardize his job. I would say if he's a good person and boss then he just wants you to stay b/c your a great employee

You're boss should not be flirting with you. Period. It is totally improper. I don't know that this has anything to do with your work since I don't know you, but a boss has no business flirting with an employee.
