No, don't pay them the money they're asking for. They aren't going to find you a job, you'd just be wasting your money. Apply directly to the airlines that fly into your local airport. Speaking French would probably help you with international airlines - do any fly out of Gulfport?
Airlines might require you to be 21 - the info might be on their website, or you can ask if you get an interview. You're 20, so it won't be long until you're 21 anyway.
Note that with all the flight cutbacks, jobs for flight attendants can be few and far between.
Good luck.

Definately don't waste money on flight attendant schools. The majority of all airlines require you to complete their training on their aircraft, regardless of whether you took any outside training. I don't think that there are any airlines based in gulfport, so you would most likely have to commute to another base or move to that base. If you speak french, you can definatley make good money flying international with Continental, Delta, United. They all hire at 21. You should wait until you are 21 to get hired, senority is everything in the airline world, the sooner you get in the better later on. Check out the above airlines, go to their website, click on careers, employment, etc. Find out if they are having a hiring session, normally they will fly you to the interview for free, and you will get hired that day if you qualify. Make sure you have a clean 10 year employment history, no gaps over 3 months, not including school. They will check your background as well, so no felonies. Other than that you should be good to go. I would really check out Continental. they have a base in Houston and fly into Gulfport. Good Luck!

Excellent shaggy dog story! If I have been the flight attendant I might have spoke back as a substitute prosaicly however properly as underneath "Greetings Princess. Welcome to(identify the nation to which the airplane belonged)! However, we assume viewers to our nation to detect the legislation of the land. And in case you're mindful, Princess, a airplane is a facet of the nation to which it belongs.Only it's airborne! Now be a best,Princess and (in a barking tone)Put up your tray instantly." That is the right authorized role. And it might had been a right rejoinder to a 'Princess' with a blown up head.

Go apply for it. My guess is to be a flight attendant you go to the airport and see if they are hiring. If so go for it. If you like traveling and don't mind flying alot and you are tiny. So go for it.
