Your words of wisdom really show what a Christian you really are !
Sanctifying grace is the grace we receive in the sacrament of Baptism. Sanctifying grace, when infused in the soul, breathes supernatural life into the soul, heals it of sins and upon death allows us to enjoy the fullness of God’s beatitude in heaven.
It is not possible for humans to merit the kingdom of heaven without the gift of sanctifying grace paid for by Christ’s redemptive suffering, death, and resurrection.
Although sanctifying grace instills us with life, there are moments in our lives in which we are especially moved by God’s love. These graces help us to sustain our relationship with Christ and are called actual graces, because they reflect the intervention of God in our lives.
Grace is the most important treasure anyone could possibly be given. Thus those who fully understand the gift of grace can truly take to heart the ultimate sacrifice and love in Christ’s passion and resurrection.
God bless you .

Everything I've learned, I've learned the hard way. There is no easy way through life - life is hard, life is unfair - but it's the same for everybody. Actions have consequences. The battle for your soul starts in your mind. The Golden Rule doesn't always work - but at least treat other people fairly, you can't always treat them exactly as you would like to be treated. Do your best, admit your mistakes, learn from your failures. Take care of your body, it's the only one you have. Laugh and have fun - don't take yourself too seriously. Give generously to others, it always comes back to you sometimes in the most surprising ways. Forgive and forget - let go and let God. Unforgiveness hurts you way more than it will ever hurt anybody else.

I think there is heaven on Earth just like there is hell. I bet for a half of the world heaven would be simply to live the lives we live in US - comfortably, no worries, nice big homes, nice cars, so much food we end up throwing most of it away, shopping every day, and no one knows what to get you for Holidays because you already have everything you want.
And then there are people in this world who'll go to bed cold and hungry and broken down by a life time of no hope, surviving the abusive economical and social injustices day after day, watching their kids go around in rugs and worry about what they'll feed them tomorrow, so many of them illiterate. I bet those people cannot even begin to imagine the splendor we comfortably take for granted. We live in these people's heaven. They live in our hell.

that i haven't any friggin' clue as to what God is up to.
AND that sometimes he takes WAY TOO LONG to answer one lousy prayer. And he irritates me somedays and he gets on my nerves because he dillydallies with the answering prayers crap, as well as somtimes the overstated fact that sometimes the wicked seem to prosper BUT that He's still God, and He will always be God, and nothing will ever change that fact. There is no other God. AND i'd rather believe in God and be sometimes irritated that he takes his good sweet old time, lol, rather than not know him at all, because everything in life that i have to be thankful for comes from Him.
And that i really do not deserve the grace extended to me on calvary so i might as well be grateful that i have eternity to look forward to, even if my life sucks. < which i do mention to him on occasion, more often than not LOL> but seriously, i am glad to know God, as at least i have hope. And when everything else falls away, that hope does not. even if he takes a while to get back to me on the answering prayers crap LOL ♥
yes, i admit it. AND i am probably the only person in the world who sometimes starts off my prayer as "You know God, i do love you... but you're really on my nerves right now; and I'm mad at you....."
lol ... sadly, that is not a joke, i have prayed like that! :(
< i bow my head, and close my eyes, and then tell the Almighty that he's on my nerves ROFL! *sighs* the audacity!> but i do love God though. ♥

The greatest lesson I have learned as a Christian is that religion is an empty, pointless association for people who want to be part of a social club. So many times in life I have been let down, dissapointed, outcast, or even rejected by those who were "religious" in the church.
My greatest lesson is this, Christianity is not about a religion, a church, or a pastor, it is about a personal real relationship with Jesus Christ. If you do not know him as your Father and your Friend then you do not truly know Jesus Christ!!

I've learned that most of what we value is irrelevant. In this life and the next. Our salvation isn't in anyone's hands but our own.
And yes, our minds a finite, and can only comprehend such things. But our souls are infinite, it's through them we comprehend God's love.

I know that God is merciful and loving with a sense of humor. Watch a baby creature play, they are so funny, innocent and entertaining, Mankind can't take the credit for that. Mankind can take the credit for trying to scare the money out of you with threats that God will throw you to the fiery pits. He's not that kind of God. He is loving. I just take a look at nature and know that we are cared for.

What has this old man learned?
I am not considered a Christian these days.
True Christians, will not be accepted in these times!
Yet I have come to understand something that few Christians have taken the time to understand within their heart!
That is, just who is Jesus (PBUH)?
"La ilaha illa Allah 'Isa Ruh Allah." - Arabic
"There is no God other than Allah, and Jesus is the soul of Allah." - English translation
This is the very reason that Jesus (PBUH) said that all mankind must first pass through him to be with the Father!
Every human should take the time to research all of Gods Prophets thoroughly!
Earthbound for 64 years.
I just shared a pearl with my brothers and sisters. That brings me joy!
"Peace be always with you."

I agree with you actually. I'm a Christian also and you pretty much described heaven as much as anyone can until we die and go there ourselves. It's nice to know there's still other Christians in the world. =)
