At least 8 weeks, but use a puppy shampoo or a little bit of baby shampoo. Be very carfull that the puppy dose not get to cold after the bath and never use a flee shampoo on a puppy under 12 weeks no matter what the bottle sais, it is not safe.

We inherited a 4 week old with the mange so we started baths right a way. We did a medicated bath every two day for a week or so and then tapered off.. My guy hates the kitchen sink. But now is a healthy happy 3 year old.

Well.. Unless the puppy NEEDS a bath desperately.. I would wait 10-12 weeks of age. If you do need to bath him... you should make sure you rinse him well, dry him thoroughly and keep him out of cool air and drafty areas until he is totally dry.

well you should start at 8 weeks cause thats the time the mother would stop caring for the babies.you can also give the dog a bath whenever.but not everyday because they would lose hair.

I would say at least 3 weeks old. But you can bath very young puupies, just make sure you use safe puupy shampoo, try not to get it in thier eyes, and make sure you always wask out all the soap or else it will dry and cause thier skin to become itchy and dry.

It's momma gives him a bath within seconds of birth. After that a mild shampoo will work.
