God clearly say I'm God there is none beside me (Isaih 45:6). Jesus said I am the way the truth and the light, no man comes to the father except by me (John 14:6) I didn't hear a pope mentioned. Call no one on earth your father, you have but one father in heaven Mathew (23:9). Father forgive me for i have sinned; sound familiar. Never follow man.

In latter time some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demon, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, FORBIDDING TO MARRY, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 1st timothy 4:1-5.

I think the Pope might be on the wrong phone line with the wrong person. Do not follow man or bow down before them.

We don't need a Pope or anyone else for correction and to keep us straight, that is what the Bible is used for.

I've never met a Catholic who is under the misconception that the pope is God or Jesus.
It seems to be Protestants and Fundamentalists are the only ones confused on this point.

The POPE is a direct SUCCESSOR of Peter...
who helps others get to the TRUTH AND THE LIGHT...
He does not declare himself as JESUS or GOD......

HONESTLY...if we who are suppose to be Christians, then why do we keep picking reasons why "this group is wrong" and "we are better" and all of that, who is to call himself a Christian when someone thinks like that?

True, but unfortunately there are some things that we blind ourselves too. Catholics may believe this because that is how they were taught, that is what they had written in their minds for a long time. I like the way you recognized this though, good for you for pointing out observations in our fellow believers.
