(NASB) Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

(Jesus is the image, a reflection in a mirror, a statue representing the invisible God, images do not have any power unto themselves.

Firstborn, according to Harper's Bible Dic. it means oldest or eldest. Thus Jesus is the oldest of all creation, thus he is a created being)

16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.

(The Greek word translated "by" has the same meaning as through. It is the same as "the message came by John"
John is not the originator of the message. Jesus is not the originator of creation, but was God's Master Worker Prov 8:30)

17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

(Jesus as God's first born, his only begotten (generated) has a special position in God's arrangement)

18He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

(Jesus has been given the responsibility of rulership over God's people,

He is the oldest one God has resurrected to heaven, Thus he was the first one created and the first one to be given immortality in heaven by his God and Father. (Eph 1:3, 17))

Focus Just On the First Verse You Qouted
"  He is the image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of all creation....
God Almighty was Never Born.Long before Jehovah created humans or even the earth itself, he created spirit persons in heaven. The Bible says that at the time when God “founded the earth . . . , all the [angelic] sons of God began shouting in applause.” (Job 38:4-7) There are millions of angels. Jehovah’s servant Daniel wrote of a vision of heavenly things in which he saw “a thousand thousands that kept ministering to [God], and ten thousand times ten thousand that kept standing right before him.”—Daniel 7:10.
The first spirit person that Jehovah created was the one who came to be known as Jesus Christ. (John 17:5; Colossians 1:15) Before he lived as a man on earth, Jesus lived in heaven as a mighty spirit creature. After his death as a human, Jesus was resurrected to heaven, where he resumed life as a mighty spirit creature.
Furthermore, if Jehovah and Jesus were the same,or Equal how could one of them be aware of things of which the other was not? Jesus, for instance, said regarding the time of the world’s judgment: “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father.”—Mark 13:32.

I don't get your point.

Vs. 15..."the image of the invisible God, the first born of every creature."

EDIT...Wooden: I used the KJV in my answer to this "question", not the New World Translation. The King James itself says Jesus is the firstborn of every creature. Explain this to me then.

Infact, I have in front of right now thr KJV, Living Bible, Phillips Modern English, Revised Standard, Today's English, New International Version, Jerusalem Bible, New English. Not here in my presence is "our" Bible, the New World. I'll use these translations to answer any question.

They try to twist the Scriptures to say Jesus was an angel or a lesser god. Heresy!

Are the jw's saying there are two gods...a little one and a big one? Isn't that POLYTHEISM?

“ You are My witnesses,” says the LORD,

“ And My servant whom I have chosen,
That you may know and believe Me,
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
Nor shall there be after Me. Is. 43:10

They say Jesus was a created angel. Shame.

For to which of the angels did He ever say:
“ You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again:
“ I will be to Him a Father,
And He shall be to Me a Son”? Heb. 1:5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jn. 1:1

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Jn. 1:14

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Ex. 3:14

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Jn. 8:58

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. 1 Tim. 3:16

“I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord,“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Rev. 1:8

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I AM the First and the Last. I AM He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I AM alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Rev. 1:17-18

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matt. 23:15

Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. Matt. 22:29

JWs will say what they have been brainwashed to say. Since they are not allowed to study the Scriptures without the aid or oversight of the Watchtower Society, any question posed to them concerning the true nature of Jesus will be skewed.

they believe that Jesus was a created being like the angels, that God created Jesus, and Jesus created all other things.

their New World Translation adds [other] to these verses when it talks about who created and what was created.
