I believe stress is caused by life problems.
If you are having trouble with problems in life , you will most likely be stressed.
I have learned to not worry about "bad " things happening and let what is going to happen happen. This doesn't mean I don't try to do things to prevent things from happening I just don't stress over them any more.
Sometimes we make mountains out of mole hills.
Also people around who act stressed out can affect you also.

The best that I can tell you is that a person that has a lot of stress can develop multiple health problems as well as mental problems. A person that has stress really needs to have good coping skills to deal with it.
