The desktop picture was changed, email was gone, Outlook was not even set up anymore...Where did everything go?

If someone else sat at your computer and logged you off and then logged in as a different user, then all your desktop stuff etc will not show up.

Turn off the computer and restart and login as you normally do.

At least try that first.
