I'm doing a report on Scientology, and I need to bring in food associated with the religion. I know there isn't much, but is there any food associated with Scientology that I can bring in?

Maybe a seafood dish or a cake in the shape of a boat with Sea Org written on it.
I have never heard of any special dishes or diets Scientologists follow.

Ahh a comparative religion course? That sounds like a common assignment. Pick a religion and do these things. A food association is much easier for christian, judaism, hindu.

Scientology? Im an ex-scientologist. I will make an effort to actually answer your question. Hmmmm when I went there was always doughnuts but that was back before the weight crisis so I wouldnt be surprised if that has changed.

They do dislike some things such as alcohol and pain killers. And I do remember some specific things were associated with their purging program to get off of things like alcohol and drugs. But I didnt take that detox course so I dont remember but I will see if I can find it.

edit: ok the best bet is Niacin which you can find in any health food store.

"The Purification Rundown is usually the first step for a Scientologist towards going "Clear". The program usually takes several weeks. As well as spending time in saunas, Scientologists are required to do light exercise including calisthenics, treadmills, and other similar activities."

"The program consists of a course of doses of vitamins (niacin in particular), long periods in a sauna, exercise, and consumption of a blend of vegetable oils. A normal, healthy diet is maintained throughout the procedure. Doses of vitamins are monitored, and are adjusted during the course of the rundown."

hmmm not bad for coming from the 1950's

"Cults" are communities that require you to trust in something without questioning it, and they don't nesessarily could be religious. adverse cults oftentimes have unfavorable economic, psychological or religious outcomes for his or her individuals. followers lose their posessions, freedom and skill to seriously imagine. The cult "officials" or leaders lie and misinform the followers, and spread incorrect information contained in the exterior international. Cult followers oftentimes attempt to shelter what they were brainwashed to trust in, in spite of any evidence you may present to them. Mainstream religions do not oftentimes try this. regardless of the reality that some actually everyone appears extra committed than is solid for them, countless their co-believers can surely make a desirable verbal change with you. you are able to't try this with cultists, who basically ignore each little thing that would not fit of their international.
