Haha. I love these questions. Lets people express opinions. Personally, I beleive that either one has a great chance, but were Bruce Lee alive today, Chuck Norris would most likely be a lot less popular. Steven Seagal specializes in Aikido, which is all about redirecting punches and kicks, getting your opponant or opponants to the ground quickly. Chuck Norris is more of the kind of person you only see fighting upright, never really down-in-the-mud kinda guy, which could bring him down a lot when Steven starts working lower to the ground. If Steven were to get Norris down on the ground, which he most likely would, Norris would most likely find no way out. My thoughts are on Seagal, not because of his reputation, but truely because of his skill and the way that he fights. In addition, Seagal uses a totally different style that Norris probably knows little about, Norris studying Chinese Martial arts while Seagal Studied Japanese. It would be a lie to say that Norris is a bad Martial Artist, but the two are so different that it would be very hard to tell.

Chuck Norris always wins.

I think Segal would own Norris. He really is a bad dude in real life. He is like a 6th dan black belt in aikido. He is legit and when you get to the extreme top levels of aikido it gets really nasty and deadly. It wouldnt be a street fight it would be Segal breaking multiple arm and leg joints and then if he wanted he could KILL norris.
There are 2 ways of doing things in aikido, the nice way, and the MEAN way. If it was REAL life and death street fighting Segal would use the MEAN way. Game over Norris, have a nice sleep.

Chuck was a real tournament fighter, Steven is an aikido instructor. Just like asking who would win in tennis or golf between a touring pro or a teaching pro. Of course Chuck will win.

lol...Although Steven Segal has had more cheesey, fight-scene movies that include special "actors" such as DMX, Chuck Norris simply cannot be beat based on his lengthy 8 seasons on CBS of Walker, Texas Ranger and dominating acclaim in popular culture (i.e. Chuck's tears can cure cancer -- too bad he doesn't cry).

I would give the edge to Norris since he actually was a fighter back in the day. If Seagal is such a tough guy, why was he a draft dodger? At least Norris acutally did his service.
I enjoy some of Seagal's films but I have lived in Japan and I know for a fact all his stories about working for the CIA and battling the yakuza while in Japan are BS.
