I bought 12" x 12" ceramic tile from Lowe's branded as SURFACE SOURCE with a PEI rating 4. I bought each tile for $0.58 each. I want to use the tile for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and living room. The tile was made in Mexico. I think the tile was being discontinued at Lowe's. Thus, I think that is why the price was so low. Did I make a mistake? The tile looks good and feels good so I do not see a problem with. I need an honest opinion.

As long as you bought enough of it to do the job (and a speck more in case you need to do a future repair) there is no problem.

Lowe's is always marking products down to sell them more quickly - it is a strength not a weakness of buying there.

Mexicans have been making tiles for ever! Sounds like you got a great buy.

You might want to go back and purchase a dozen or so extra tiles - before they are all gone - for just in case.

Hope your floors turn out better than even you expect!
