I have a report to do for History and we are learning about WWII soon. I want to do it on all the normal and weird weapons in WWII. Anyone have a good website for this? I am mainly looking to do it on the Nazi German side, like the Kraummer Lauf, etc.

With all the technological advances that were being made in Germany at the end of the war, it's a good thing we won when we did...given another year, it's likely we would all be speaking German. Had they developed the atom bomb, the America bomber, guided rockets and missiles and jet aircraft in time, we would have had a terrible time of it.
Kind of a weird site here..some true, some not but we're not fully sure of all the possible experiments the Germans were doing.

Has a story of the V-3 "super-cannon" site that Joe Kennedy was to have bombed before his plane blew up.The 140 m long cannon was capable of delivering a 140 kg shell over a 165 km range. Construction began of a bunker for the cannons in September 1943 at Mimoyecques, France. His brother, John Kennedy, went on after a stint in the Navy to become our president instead of him which was his father's goal. The V-3 supergun was the basis for one that Sadam Hussein was having built by Dr Gerald Bull.

Lancaster. A heavy bomber that could deliver a huge load. Controversial, yes but war brought it on. And it fought the enemy when there was no other front apart from Africa. Related to the Lanc, Tallboy and Grandslam. Incredible devices that penetrated the hardened U Boat pens and missile sites. And sank ships. It brought down tunnels and viaducts where ordinary bombs failed. The Grand slamb, 22,000lbs. Creating a camouflet effect and removing anything for foundation to stand on. I would add the Spit. The plane saw out the war and just got better with every version. It also saw action of carriers in its sea version. Germans would bring out a good plane, Rolls Royce brought out a better engine and upped the anti with the same plane. Bit morbid I know but amazing either way. Edited to add. Top of all that should be the young lads that flew in those and other bombers. Very brave men.

There probably isn't one site... but Answers.com is a good place to start.. Use terms like "German WWII aircraft" or Jets.. the V1 and V2 rockets would also make a good place to start. The Nazis used the V1 extensively to bomb England... the Panzer Tank would be another fruitful search.... also research British and American Aircraft (Spitfire, P38) and weapons.. Follow links in references.
You've a huge goal... good luck.
